What does that mean by the money is in the list. Capturing information from people who visit your website. <p>A good way to capture information from people who subscribe to your website is by building what is called a squeeze page or splash page. This is a simple page that is by itself that does not have tabs or linksto other pages etc. This webpage offers some type of offer to people whether it be information or a product. It gives a visitor two options:</p>
<p>1. Sign up for the offer</p>
<p>2. Get out</p>
<p>It is that simple. So here are some basic points to remember when building a squeeze page or a capture page:</p>
<p><strong>1. A preamble headline:</strong> This is usually a disqualifying headline in the form of a if question, if you are looking to&#8230;?</p>
<p><strong>2. Headline:</strong> This is very important and must grab the readers attention. This is where th visitor will make their decision of either to stay or leave.</p>
<p><strong>3. Sub-Headline:</strong> This is what will support the main headline, builds anticipation, and provokes a call to action.</p>
<p><strong>4. Bullets: </strong>bullets are what lays out what the offer will help the visitor with. This is where you lay out all of the benefits. Best foot forward. These must also invoke a reader to take action. Pull at their emotions.</p>
<p><strong>5. Sign-up form:</strong> Really simple you need a form where a visitor can opt-in to receiving the offer. First name and email will be the least to get and promote more subscribers. Keep it very simple.</p>
<p><strong>6. Bribe:</strong> This is the most important. This is where you tell the visitor what they will receive for putting in their information. It has to be very good. The offer must be good enough for a visitor to be willing to just hand over their information so you have to expound on why they can&#8217;t miss out on your offer. Remember your cost. If you are shipping a product and it cost you make sure you do your homework on what you can give without dipping into the profits. Offering a free e-book, step by step information, or how to information will be free for you as they can download it and the process is simple.</p>
<p>These are the basic components of a splash page or capture page. The more people you have that have voluntarily given you their information the more people you can market to. That is why internet marketers say &#8220;the money is in the list&#8221;.</p>

<p><span style="font-size: small;">Although you do want to have an unsubscribe link in the email, you should have it at the bottom of the email. Add extra spaces between your last sentence and your Click Here to unsubscribe link. You might also want to fade the text as well and also make the print a smaller font. </span></p>
<p>You can also make your own custom page that will have text that you want it to say. So when someone does click on the unsubcribe link you can use this custom page to ask them why they are leaving, offer a promotion, or something similar but you do not want to be pushy. Always have your logo on this page as well to once again help brand your company&#8217;s identity.</p>

<p><span style="font-size: small; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">I am sure you have gone to your mailbox and received some type of mail and it went from the mailbox to the trash. Your nice new offer could go down the same path if you get the point. Making your customers feel like you know them and their needs and offering them something tailored to them will make them want to buy from you more and increase your conversions.</span></p>

<p>When emailing businesses the best times are  between Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 to 3:00 their local time. The reason for this is because Mondays are full of sales meetings for most businesses and Fridays are wrap up days.  Tues. through Thurs. is when most businesses get the majority of their work done. You do not want to email at night because then your email will be one of many in the inbox in the morning. The best time to have an email in a business person&#8217;s inbox is right after lunch. Then your email will be one of a few and have the person&#8217;s direct attention.</p>
<p>When emailing customers the best time is Friday afternoon through Sunday around 6:00 local time as this is when most people check their personal emails. During the week Monday through Thursday the best time is 5:30 - 9:00 pm local time. This is when people come home from work and check their personal emails when they relax and get on their personal computers.</p>
<p>If you start your email campaigns during these times then you will increase your deliveries and opens. This will help you to also be in people&#8217;s inbox when you have their full attention.</p>
